The Operations Analyst is a key member of the Operations IT team; having the opportunity to align with leadership and business partners on projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior Operations Analyst experience or similar insurance analyst experience, ability to manage projects independently, has a drive for personal success, and has the functional aptitude to learn new responsibilities with proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business in the development of new systems or processes.
  • Lead and support the successful delivery of IT/Operations projects and initiatives.
  • Support and maintain assigned Policy Admin. Systems.
  • Identify workflow/system improvements and present solutions to management team.
  • Provide analytical support for best business practices across all company departments.
  • Work with business partners and functional areas to gather information and provide solutions.
  • Develop release notes and user training documentation.
  • User Training and Support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 yrs Operations Analyst experience (or similar insurance analyst experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently.
  • Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
  • ISO Commercial Property and Casualty rating and forms knowledge is preferred.
