POSITION SUMMARY The IT Technician is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting computer problems for employees, fulfilling new hardware requests, software, and peripheral requests. Assisting other IT resources in project specific support needs and meeting continuous service delivery demands. Technicians will provide technical assistance in person, through email, or over the phone to various end-users. The technician will be required to utilize a service desk system for tracking customer needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Essential Functions Statement(s): Primary support role for entire organization. Will work through various technical issues daily, providing advanced support for the Help Desk and escalating issues where appropriate. Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems. Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system. Assist in asset management for entire company. Identity Management (Active Directory and security/access integrations). Configure, install and deploy new workstations and other various IT equipment. Assist in resolving outstanding help desk items. Carry out supplementary IT Tasks, such as new IT installations, customized application development projects, and Third-party vendor interaction. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or Related Field. Experience: 1 – 2 Years of relevant IT Experience. Technical Skills: CompTIA A Certification a plus.
