Purpose
This position is responsible for cutting of the company’s products effectively and according to the customer’s specifications while maintaining high quality standards.

Essential Functions
- Properly cut product to appropriate size per customer specifications
- Maintain high quality standards and re-work any material that does not meet standards
- Maintain an accurate count of production output and meet production expectations
- Manage all cut product and guide through the remainder of the manufacturing process while keeping all styles/colors separated as instructed
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Must be able to safely operate a wolf knife and/or slitter with proper training
- Shift to different work areas when needed to maintain and meet production expectations
- Meet all safety standards and follow all rules and regulations
- Notify supervisor of any/all problems that may prohibit meeting production expectations
- Notify supervisor of all mechanical and maintenance issues you encounter
- Accurately report daily production to supervisor
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
- This position is hourly non-exempt, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Physical Work – Ability exert 30-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than/up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Must team lift anything over 50 pounds with another person. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
