Novelis Davenport Manufacturing Facility is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Davenport, IA

Position Overview

Our Davenport Novelis team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our hourly positions. This position will report to the Sr. Human Resources Manager. These functions include but are not limited to: Production Workers, Equipment Operators, Maintenance Mechanics, Electricians, etc.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Identify and attract highly qualified and diverse talent
  • Build a robust pipeline of talent for both current and future roles by actively sourcing candidates
  • Build a positive relationship with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, Compensation, and other internal collaborators
  • Partner closely with Compensation and HR Business Partners to develop offers
  • Extend and negotiate offers to candidates
  • Create a phenomenal and positive experience for all candidates and hiring managers
  • Develop imaginative strategies to attract for critical, hard to fill roles
  • Enlighten the business on hiring trends and the candidate market by staying up to date on industry resources
  • Act as a company ambassador by representing Novelis culture and business in a positive way
  • Increase overall employer brand awareness in the markets Novelis operates in and build engagement strategies for key prospective talent

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or 1-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Previous experience recruiting for hourly level roles (highly preferred)
  • Shown understanding and experience with applicant tracking systems; iCIMS highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions while demonstrating a sound sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivation to drive results and complete tasks independently
  • High level of emotional maturity; comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Proven to be a synergetic teammate contributing to the development of others
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
