Position Overview: 

The Novelis Atlanta Team is seeking an Operations Lead. The person in this role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Applications Technology. In this role you will be responsible for the Solarwinds Availability and Performance Management Application and IT Service Management for multiple Enterprise Solutions including capacity, availability, performance, incident change, configuration and life-cycle management. This position will be focused on maintaining and enhancing our record of operational excellence for our Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

• Manage Novelis’ service measurement solutions including maintaining the Application CMDB in ServiceNow and managing the Solarwinds service measurement application plus other solutions as necessary. 
• Utilize data visualization and reporting tools to communicate application availability, capacity, performance, release and configuration information to the enterprise 
• Configuring and scripting of the Solarwinds APM Solution to include alerts and automated incident resolution. 
• Conduct operational reviews with users and service providers to maintain and/or enhance service levels. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology. 
• One year of experience working as a Solarwinds Administrator in the IT Service Management field as a consultant or within a large enterprise’s IT department. 
• One or more certifications: Linux Administration, Azure Administration, Solarwinds Administration or ITIL.
