Finance Admin, P2P Systems

Position Overview:

The Novelis Corporate Finance Process Excellence team is seeking a Finance Admin, P2P Systems (Coupa & OneSource). The person in this role will report to the Senior Director, Finance Process Excellence. The ideal candidate will support the Coupa P2P Platform and the OneSource indirect tax cloud deployment from a finance administration perspective.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of business support for Finance users in Coupa/OneSource
• Provide audit support for Sarbanes Oxley compliance including generating reports, developing documentation, and performing completeness and accuracy checks
• Provide first-line technical support for any Tax Calculation errors, identifying gaps in Taxability
• After OneSource implementation, reduction of tax exceptions
• Understand the complete data flow and data mapping between the ERP / Coupa / OneSource at a detailed level.
• Help Troubleshoot issues that users may have which could be data, process, configuration, or integration related.
• Complete system configuration efforts including but not limited to: Chart of Accounts, Approval chains, Tax codes, GL accounts, Invoicing and execution of the best Coupa practices
• Finance user administration including assignment of roles and user access levels
• Ensure quality solution deployment through the development from the functional standpoint, whilst we are rolling out Coupa globally in phases
• Develop strong synergetic relationships with key business partners across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or IT or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
• 6 years shown experience in accounting / tax or Finance Systems
• Experience with Project Implementation
• Business process management experience 
• Detail focused, self-starter who is orderly, well-adapted and flexible
• Problem Solver
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics clearly and concisely to non-technical associates and non-technical topics to technical resources.
• Excellent business collaboration skills required - ability to interact and connect with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
• Digital literacy (SQL, VBA )
• Greenbelt / Lean Six Sigma preferred 
• 2 years’ of shown experience w/ Coupa or OneSource
• Exposure to sales tax

Location Profile

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis’ North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people.
