Primary Responsibilities Monitor & analyze supplier performance and report out to key stakeholders. Lead suppliers’ development activities using the relevant quality tools ensuring measured improvement are met against the agreed target dates and improvements are maintained. Drive effective and timely close-out of NCR’s / 8D’s & SCAR’s. Carry out supplier measurement studies using 6 sigma tools to understand supplier capability (Cpk / Ppk & standard deviation). Support key suppliers’ development by leading / support Kaizen events. Support the development of a supplier’s portal Work cross functionally with supply chain, quality assurance and engineering team to ensure other stakeholders requirements are built into improvement plans. Support supplier initial assessments and audit schedule Support NPI projects and utilize APQP/PPAP tools where appropriate Help drive supplier compliance against the relevant regulations. Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position or supply chain management/development activities required. Prior experience or knowledge of electrical/electronic components & assembly required. Prior quality engineering or supplier quality experience. Understanding of advanced product development and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plan, FMEA, etc.). Ability to carry out supplier measurement studies using 6 sigma tools to understand supplier capability (Cpk / Ppk & standard deviation). Formal auditing training and qualification (ISO9001 and/or ISO13485) Bachelor’s degree required, preferably Engineering Project management experience is preferred. Quality Certifications such as CQA, CQE, CQM, Six Sigma, Lean etc. are preferred. Expertise in problem solving methodology required. Experience with RoHS, REACH, CMRT, CA Prop 65 etc. Knowledge in Supplier Scorecard and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Auditor accreditation for system and process. (VDA or similar certification preferred). Knowledge of English language, oral and written, and preferably in other language(s) used in geographic area of responsibility Travel Requirements Travel to visit/audit suppliers as required. Expected <25%. Must have a valid passport and able to travel internationally. Physical Requirements Able to obtain up to date Covid-19 vaccination status prior to employment start (full vaccination dose and booster, if eligible) per current CDC guidelines.
