ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review sales demands and the planned work orders generated by MRP. Release work orders to the shop floor to support the demand with consideration to capacity. Work closely with shop floor supervisors to schedule orders. Work with Sales Administration staff to acknowledge attainable deliveries to customers. Work closely with Sales Administration to provide lead times for customer quotations on ATI products. Collaborate with Demand Analysts to develop recovery plans for any part shortages and work closely with the other teams to ensure delivery to customer expectations. Interface closely with the Demand Analysts on new and upcoming product demands or revisions of existing designs. Create and maintain excellent working relationships with internal/external suppliers and customers. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience APICS certification a plus 3 year of experience in a production environment using an ERP system. Must be comfortable working in a collaborative purchasing/planning team. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), ERP software, internal intranet, and related office hardware.
