Primary Responsibilities Assist design engineer with component purchase and kitting, coordination with assembly house for prototype build Assist design engineer with debug and test Assist systems engineer or conduct related activities to release new design to Production Assist with miscellaneous activities to keep Engineering team operational Maintain laboratory space clean and functional General tasks Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations. Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist. Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies Associate degree: Electrical Engineering; Industrial Engineering or equivalent 3 years in New Production Introduction required Rework skills: able to do inspection of component assembly, soldering, and rework under microscope Assembly skill: able to assemble hardware following instructional documents Test skills: know how to use test instruments such as oscilloscope, video generators and analyzers, PC to conduct debug or verification test Ability to operate with minimal instructions Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks in a timely manner Ability to prioritize efforts from multiple projects Familiar with Arena for implementing BOM structures and related, and creating ECO for release Know how to use Orcad, Allegro and Pads viewers to work with boards Know how to use productivity tools such as Word and Excel for data analysis and reporting purpose Travel Requirements Yes Physical Requirements Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
