Major Duties and Responsibilities Assembly of a variety of ATI F/T sensor products and cables. Perform fine soldering of wires (26-36 AWG), wire splices, contacts, surface mount components, and connectors. Crimping of terminals onto wire. Perform mechanical assembly of ATI F/T products utilizing torque wrenches, arbor press, and a variety of other tools. Operate test equipment including environmental chambers, leak testers, ohm meter, voltmeter, and a variety of other equipment. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles for daily continuous improvement activities. Minimum Skills and Abilities Required Must be willing to learn. This person will need to have an attitude of always willing to learn something new. Read and communicate in English. Basic computer skills. Electro-mechanical assembly skills. Ability to solder small components using magnification with both magnifier and microscope preferred. Ability to read and interpret various forms of documentation including assembly drawings and work instructions. Follow established procedures.
