Novant Health is Hiring a Solution Architect Near Salem, NC

Overview:

Novant Health is seeking a Solution Architect. Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

Responsible for providing technical leadership in support of cloud computing and automation. Plays an important role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks. Establishes and maintains technology standards, and evaluates and directs new technology designs. Provides technical architecture expertise, playing a vital role in designing, enhancing, implementing and scaling cloud platforms. Helps define engineering and architectural best practices broadly throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field, preferred.
Experience: 3 yaers Developing cloud-based solutions, required. 3 years Developing solutions across multiple cloud platforms, development frameworks, and operating systems, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Microsoft Certified Azure (Fundamentals), required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
- Demonstrable understanding of large scale systems from architectural overview down to the key details of development, data storage, processing, and deployment.
- Experience working in a hybrid Agile development environment.
- Eager to work in a collaborative, technically challenging environment with rapidly changing requirements.
- Serverless Code Architectures (Tanzu, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.JS).
- Microsoft Azure (App Service, Storage, Data, Network).
- Mobile Platforms (iOS, Android).
- Azure Pipelines (DevOps).
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
- Microsoft .NET (C#).
- Microservice Architecture.
- Modern data interoperability architecture.
- Data pipeline architecture.
- Mulesoft.
