Nothing Bundt Cakes - Support Office is Hiring a Remote Communications & Events Manager

Position Summary: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) is seeking astrategic and creative Communications & Events Manager to join our Operations Services team. Operations Services is the hub in the center of NbC between the various support team departments with the goal of maximizing collaboration and helping things run like clockwork organizationally. The Communications & Events Manager is a key role in that hub, responsible for successful planning and execution of bakery communications projects, ensuring concise, informative information is relayed to the bakery system, across the appropriate channels. This position is also responsible for planning and process development related to events and meetings (system/support team). As a member of the Operations Services team, the Communications & Events Manager works closely with the Sr. Director of Operations Services, Ops Services Manager, Communications Manager, and various department leads to bring the NbC communications vision, events and meeting to life.
Position Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of the Operations Services, implement bakery communications strategies to build internal trust and confidence within the brand
  • Support management of bakery communications
  • Day-to-day/weekly maintenance and support for the bakery communications tools: communications platform, weekly newsletter, quarterly newsletter, SurveyMonkey and other communication materials as required
  • Create communication drafts for various departmental topics
  • Measure, track, and optimize the effectiveness of communications and tools
  • Ensure NbC’s identity is consistent across all internal mediums through effective messaging, knowledge sharing, and branding standards
  • Manage effective and efficient distribution of communications materials and maintain digital archives of assets
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant cross-functional partners
  • Project management support and planning for the annual NbC Conference and Regional Meetings
  • Develop framework for events with detailed project timelines, roles and responsibilities, logistics, process structure
  • Support the execution of events, including lead planning and debrief meetings 
  • Agenda development and tracking 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external planners (secondary point of contact)
  • Management and execution of support team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years equivalent work experience 
  • 2 years’ experience in franchise system a plus
  • Food/retail industry experience a plus
Work Availability
Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.
