We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team within the Wealth space at Northwestern Mutual., here you will play a key role in building/supporting our APIs and UIs. In this position, you will be working with a group of engineers within NM's Wealth group, building high-quality applications used to help our clients service their products. To support our growing team, we are seeking a strong developer, who is passionate about writing code that meets business needs, sees things through the eyes of an architect, and wants to learn front-end/ back-end frameworks and become a proficient full-stack engineer.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 4 years of professional experience required
* 4 years of hands-on development experience working with modern languages and frameworks like JavaScript, NodeJS, React, and Databricks
* Experience with Java is nice to have
* Experience with writing automated unit tests
* Experience with DB technologies; SQL/no-SQL, e. g. MySQL/MongoDB
* Experience with AWS technologies and services
* Experience with Git repositories and git CLI, familiarity with GitLab or GitHub
