Description

Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently in search of a Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager with experience and knowledge of regulations around DOT, Hazmat, and Joint Commission.

Working from our St. Paul, MN office, this role aims to keep us up to code with trainings and staying up to date on all regulations. The Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager will visit each branch twice per year to complete audits.

Schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform audits twice a year at each branch. Keep NRS up to code and focusing on additional training.
  • Stay up to date and ensure compliance on all regulations NRS are to meet. Includes but not limited to, joint commission, DOT, FDA, NFPA, and HIPPA codes.
  •  Ensure all our CYA and initial trainings are being completed and signed off on. 
  • Approve all branch maintenance and office supply purchases at the branches.
  • Oversee all current leases making sure we are up to date. Manage all negotiations and new branches opening. 
  • Consistent communication across departmental boundaries and to all levels of leadership

Our top candidates will have:

  • 3 or more years in Quality Assurance or a similar role
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, background check, and drug test
  • An in-depth understanding of DOT, FDA, NFPA, and HIPPA codes and guidelines relevant to Respiratory and Oxygen Medical Equipment industry.
  • Experience working with BOP’s

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years' compliance experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and statistical skills.
  • Good computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
  • Effective communication and multitasking skills.
  • Dedication to objectivity.
