Hospice of Northwest Ohio is Hiring a Hospice Aide - ECF Toledo Near Toledo, OH

Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA or test-ready). If test-ready, Hospice of Northwest Ohio will pay the cost of the test if obtained within first 90 days of employment.
Qualification Requirements

Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment. CNA certification required for Michigan facilities.
6 months of work experience in a home health agency, hospital, and/or long-term care facility or is actively enrolled in an accredited LPN/RN school of nursing with evidence of clinical skills training. Long term care experience preferred.
Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Netsmart system preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Demonstrates ability to read, write and follow direction and instruction.
Has the physical ability necessary for extensive standing, lifting, and pushing.
Demonstrates interest and empathy for the terminally ill and is comfortable with issues of death and dying.
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with patients, families and other co-workers.
Possesses a valid driver's license with an automobile in good working order that is insured according to agency requirements.
