Northville, Michigan 48167 is Hiring a Caregiver Near Northville, MI

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Homestead manages a senior living facility in Farmington Hills.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team! If you understand that our residents deserve respect and dignity and can help them maintain a good quality of life, please join us.

Currently we have midnight shifts available

Why our facility:

  • Medical, dental and vision for full time employees (30 hours and up)

Your daily responsibilities will be:

  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, incontinence care, and adequate nutritional intake
  • Respond to resident call lights and assisting them with their needs
  • Observe and document changes in residents mental and physical health so everyone is familiar with their health status
  • Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing tasks that are assigned so nothing is overlooked
  • Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services and coworkers
  • Assist other team members with their duties
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Every other weekend is required
  • A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
