  • You have 4-6 years of experience as a UX designer in a fast-paced, high-performing startup or tech company
  • You have strong knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe)
  • You have experience with the end-to-end product design process and design thinking
  • You love taking product requirements and benchmarks and building beautiful, functional product features based on them to create new user experiences
  • You're a pro at developing new concepts through user flow mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and experimentation, and testing those concepts with real people
  • You enjoy recruiting and conducting user interviews
  • You have a strong perspective on what a good product looks and feels like - and love discussing your ideas with the team
  • You get inspired by designing, facilitating, and executing user research activities such as usability testing, A/B testing, customer interviewing, and customer surveying
  • You enjoy working on highly complex projects that are delivered with urgency to our customers
  • You’re energized to be working on a growth-oriented team that is focused on moving fast, learning quickly, and driving tremendous business impact

Bonus points:

  • You've been a founding member or a part of an early-stage team of a widely-used mobile app or SaaS product
  • You’re familiar with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Looker, Google Analytics)
  • You have worked in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

BENEFITS

Our mission is big and audacious, but we're assembling a team to take the challenge head-on.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be joining a team that prioritizes:

  • Top-tier health/dental benefits: We care about the people we work with and put their health first. NorthOne is proud to offer inclusive health and dental coverage.
  • Flexible working hours: We don't clock in and out at set times. You know when you do your best work. We celebrate accomplishments, not how many hours are spent at the office.
  • Unlimited paid time off: We hire talented people and know that they need time off to be at their best. Take as much time off as you need to recharge and make sure you’re working sustainably.
  • The latest computer equipment: We make sure you have the best equipment so you can produce great work.
  • Professional development budget: We support lifelong learners by covering the cost of classes, workshops, conferences and books.
  • Remote and in-person get-togethers: Bond with your teammates over shared interests at regular get-togethers. Find like-minded people who are passionate about everything from sports and music to gaming and cooking.
  • Remote-friendly environment: Flexibility to work from home, office, or both! We support our teammates wherever they prefer to work within North America. We are a distributed team and do not require our employees to be located in one of our office hubs.
  • One hell of an adventure!
