Job Summary
Northland Community and Technical College seeks a temporary part-time Human Resources Technician 2 on the Thief River Falls or East Grand Forks campus. The position purpose is to assist in the classified/unclassified hiring processes by utilizing applicant tracking systems to post vacancies and accept applications; monitor the ELM employee training; coordinate and process the college's business expenses; and oversee HR functions.
The person in this position must exercise the highest level of confidentiality in all functions and activities. This position ensures the work that is produced in the office is accurate and that questions and requests are dealt with in a timely & efficient manner. The incumbent is a key player in facilitating communication among and between internal and external customers, providing effective and accurate records, and implementing efficient office procedures and guidelines to promote operational effectiveness. The Human Resources Technician’s responsibilities include:
