We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Therapy Aide to join our Ashland Clinic team!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30 pm

The purpose of the Therapy Aide is to ensure patients enter clean, well-organized, treatment spaces. A successful Therapy Aide will be approachable to peers, patients, and providers. The Therapy Aide will provide assistance to the Occupational and Speech Therapists in making sure that therapy rooms are prepped for patient visits, cleaned after patient visits, assist with inventory management and provide other assistance as needed.

Therapy Aide duties include but are not limited to

• Must be motivated, self-starter with an interest in Occupational/Speech Therapy.
• Communicate effectively to Providers and Management
• Inventory management
• Food maintenance and prep for sessions, moderate cooking skill with the ability to follow very specific food prep instructions.
• Set up, clean up and restock for: therapy groups, infant/baby sessions, evaluations, etc.
• Be an extra hand in treatment.
• Perform clerical duties, as necessary, to support the department.
• Must be organized and able to multitask in a busy clinical setting.
• Maintains patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
• The physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position are described as light/medium lifting and moving of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three to six months related experience and/or training.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office, and Google Office.
• Analytical/time management skills
