Job Description
The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end process including adjusting entries
- Monthly bank reconciliation including preparation of journal entries
- Prepares and analyzes monthly account reconciliations
- Assists with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Maintain accurate inter-company reconciliations
- Knowledgeable on the process to close books at the end of the month and produce clean monthly financial statements
- Asses and apply existing accounting methodologies to ensure GAAP is correctly applied and remediate where necessary
- Own daily accounting tasks including AR/AP
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred; or Bachelor degree in Business accepted with related experience; Equivalent experience accepted
- 3 years experience in finance/accounting riles
- 2 years experience with QuickBooks online
- Excellent knowledge of double entry accounting and its procedures or requirements
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Good judgement and analytical skills
