Job Title: IT Administrator
Reports to IT Director
Summary
Supports the overall IT environment at NOPEC. Installs, modifies, and manages hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, such as monitors, keyboards, and printers, as directed by the IT Manager. Serves as the help desk to other team members, board members, and external consultants and timely response to inquiries and resolves problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Illustrative duties may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:
· Establishes help desk operations to assist internal team members and external stakeholders with IT-related questions and problems.
· Performs hardware, software, and peripheral equipment improvements and upgrades to ensure all systems are up to date.
· Assists with the maintenance of all NOPEC data and file systems
· Monitors system performance to ensure that operations are within established standards and develops recommendations for enhancements to improve operations and increase system capabilities.
· Performs IT onboarding of new employees, including collecting requirements, setup, and deployment
· Maintains records of the inventory of IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, mobility devices, etc.
· Performs basic training and creates training materials on software applications.

Working Conditions
The incumbent will work in an office environment but is also expected to be able to function in an environment consistent with many multiple public buildings, trade shows, and other event locations throughout NOPEC’s Ohio footprint. Resultantly, the incumbent should expect to occasionally deal with the normal range of weather within Ohio including heat, cold, humidity, rain, etc. Frequent travel within the NOPEC footprint is expected. Incumbents should understand the expectation is that this job periodically requires a 40 hour per week commitment. Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required.
