Title: Nursing Assistant

Status: Part-time to Full-time- Qualified candidates must be able to commit to part-time school schedule (varying days) and a part-time work schedule. After class completion a full-time work schedule.

Shifts: AM/PM/NOC

Wage: $16.08 During training, Pay increase following CNA Certification ($17.50-$18.00)

About Us

At Northbrook Healthcare Center is looking for amazing caregivers (Nurse Assistants) interested in starting or advancing their Healthcare career be becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

If selected, we will provide on job training and experience, coordination of enrollment into our partnered CNA school, covered tuition costs, and guaranteed full-time job with a one-year contract.

Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Perform only those nursing care procedures that you have been trained to do.
• Follow work assignments and work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.
• Transport residents to new rooms or to the receiving area
• Weigh and measure residents as instructed.
• Ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.

Nursing Assistant Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

Nursing Assistant Requirements

• None- preferred Healthcare experience, but not mandatory
