San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for Para-Educator I Extended Day (teachers assistants) to work in our after-school program. 8 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 7:00am-8:30am & 11:30am-6:00pm (multiple sites) 4 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 2:00pm-6:00 & Wed 11:30am-6:00pm (Lead School) 8 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 7:00am-8:30am & 11:30am-6:00pm (Bayside Academy) 8 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 7:00am-8:30am & 11:30am-6:00pm (Beach Park School) 8 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 7:00am-8:30am & 11:30am-6:00pm (Brewer Island School) 8 hours/day- M, T, Th, F 7:00am-8:30am & 11:30am-6:00pm (San Mateo Park School) Definition: Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children; and to perform related work as required.
