Responsibilities

Provide management oversight for all phases of hospital construciton projects, including budget, schedule, schematic desgin , design development, construction and space occupation. Ensures all codes and specifications are being met and work is proceedeing on schedule and sithin budget. Will act as liason between the construcion team and the user department.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor of Science in Architectuecure, Engineering orrelated field

Experience

Extensive knowledge of healthcare construction, installation and operational testing.

Extensive knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.

Extensive knowledge of project planning software, such as Microsoft Project.

Knowledge of Life Safety codes, NFPA, ADA and Joint Commission requirements and specifications

Ability to understand and use schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, blue prints and specifications

 General knowledge of Computer Aided Design Software.

Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous acticites and groups of people.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

Ability to set priorities and achieve objectives.
