The CAR Group is a dedicated team who provides exceptional business management and IT services to a collection of high-performing, privately held retail automotive dealerships throughout Southern California, Florida, and Texas. The dealerships all do business as Norm Reeves. The organization maintains its primary operational office near its dealerships in Cerritos, CA. The IT Department serves over 1,500 employees across 16 physical dealership operations as well as two auxiliary management offices. 

What You’ll Do

The Social Media Marketing Specialist prepares and develops social media content to support and enhance the organization's brand and operations. They will monitor posts and analyze social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction and will also support human resources-related asset design. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and writing skills as they will represent all company communication on internal and external social media channels.

• Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
• Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
• Design a variety of print and digital deliverables including marketing collateral, brochures, flyers, emails and landing pages, banner ads, social media assets, etc.
• Brainstorm, design, and create assets for a variety of internal- and external-facing projects.
• Communicate with different teams while managing projects and timelines.
• Be aware of current market trends in both design and content consumption, staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
• Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
• Performing other duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Marketing, Design, or Communications major.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe platforms (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Familiar with a wide variety of design tool platforms.
• Preferred experience with photo editing and graphic creation.
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills or the ability to quickly learn various computer programs including Workvivo (Our internal communications platform).
