Norland International and ABE Equipment are looking for an experienced Web Developer.The Web Developer reports directly to the Marketing Manager. This person is responsible for multiple websites' design, layout, functionality, and maintenance. The best candidate will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design, clear navigation, and optimal layout of product categories and markets.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities to be considered Qualified for the Position

• Computer literacy/competency. Ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Organized and able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Website design/development on various platforms, i.e., WordPress, Drupal.
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
• Experience in planning and execution of websites with multiple products and organizational units.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, mobile/tablet responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and best development practices.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
• Previous experience with E-Commerce applications, i.e., WooCommerce, and Shopify.
• Knowledge and experience in modern HTML/CSS coding.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Although a weekday, day-shift position, the individual must have the ability to work extra hours as needed.
• Team spirit, positive, "Can-Do" attitude & ability to work effectively with others as a team member.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and independent worker.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
• BS in computer science or a related field.
• Intermediate level in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, and like applications.
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and API's.
• Google Adwords/PPC experience.
• Previous work history in manufacturing, the beverage/alcohol industry, and equipment A PLUS.

Essential Function of Job

• Develop functional and appealing web and mobile sites/applications.
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements.
• Gather and refine web assets to meet specifications and technical requirements.
• Use API's, cookies, and pixels to re-target customers.
• Assist with copywriting.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Stay current on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.
• Assist with keeping product information & assets current and up-to-date and following the desired company style guides.
• Cooperate with graphic designers to match visual design intent.
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management.
• Complete daily time logs.
• Generate written procedures for functions related to your Position, which are completed on a routine basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
