Nordica Warehouses, Inc. is currently looking to hire an additional Maintenance Person to handle the day-to-day maintenance issues that arise along with all the preventative maintenance that needs to be done to ensure all of our equipment stays running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on propane forklifts, dock plates, trailer locks, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, etc. This position has day hours Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, with overtime available.

You will be responsible for making sure that all maintenance/repairs are completed at our 3 complexes that are located around Sioux Falls. We have work trucks that are fully kitted with all the equipment and tools needed to get the jobs done.

Starting salary up to $22 an hour, based off of experience. PTO and benefits after 90 days.

Job Duties:

Regular Maintenance/repairs on propane Forklifts 

Maintain all dock doors, dock plates and trailer locks

General building repairs/maintenance

Install and repairs pallet racking as needed

General grounds maintenance to included: mowing, weeding, watering trees and snow removal (skid steer, snow blower, shovel)

Light electrical: change light fixtures in offices or warehouses

Maintaining heating and cooling systems: change filters, cleaning, programing thermostats
