Chief Executive Officer needed
Total comp at $138,000 comes from salary and bonus
What do we do? We own a huge convention and that’s literally our name—we are The HUGE Convention. www.thehugeconvention.com. We are the premier convention for the home services industry focus on education for home services business owners and their key employees. We are seeking an experienced CEO to manage the day-to-day operations of our company.
The right candidate has run a successful business (or two) before and must be excited to build another. You will model our already great company culture, provide your inspired leadership to a small team, and establish a great working relationship with the owners of The HUGE.
Big picture? The HUGE CEO must:
- Be the defender in chief of the P&L.
- Grow the team and hold them accountable to their goals.
- Ensure The HUGE vision is shared by all.
- Be the Chief Reminding Officer obsessing about mission, vision and strategy.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
- Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
- Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, auditing, and planning.
- Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Be guided by humility, service, and integrity.
It would be great if The HUGE CEO:
- Has had experience with live events—we’re not looking for an event planner, but you’ll need some skills in this area.
- Has created, implemented, and scaled education programs—think continuing education programs or professional certifications.
- Understands the home service industry—P&L, staffing, sales and marketing.
HUGE CEO Requirements:
- Experience in a senior management position.
- Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
- Understanding of human resources and personnel management.
