Overview
Position Summary:
Do you love providing compassionate care to those who suffer from illnesses or injuries? At NMC Health, we’re proud to set a 5-Star standard for healthcare, and your passion will go a long way in Registered Nurse (RN) position in our Operating Room. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. Your skills in evaluating patient response and progress toward outcomes, will be used daily and are an essential aspect of the care you will give. We recognize we can't provide the level of compassionate care that we do without the dedicated work of people like you. We're looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients.
This is a full time day shift position with call.
As of 1/21/22, NMC Health requires all employees to be vaccinated unless a medical or religious exemption is needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing required
Licensure and Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support.Recommended Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support per unit discretion.
- Additional certifications may become necessary dependent on the unit assigned.
