NIRA, Inc. is Hiring a Senior .NET Developer Near Bethesda, MD
NIRA, Inc. is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to support a web-based case management system for a federal agency.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in life cycle development of web-based applications following an Agile methodology including requirement analysis, software design and implementation, and system testing
- Develop software components using Microsoft .NET technologies
- Support the operation, maintenance, enhancement and administration of the application and infrastructure, which is running on Microsoft Windows servers and Microsoft SQL Servers
- Work with customers to clarify requirements, classify and prioritize user requests, and fix bug requests and operational issues reported by users
- Recommend, evaluate, and perform system upgrades
Required Skills:
- More than 7 years of solid working experience in software development using Object-Oriented Programming, ASP.NET and C#
- More than 2 years of solid working experience in software development using ASP.NET Core
- More than 5 years of working experience with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), windows service, web service and web API
- Experience of integration between different systems/applications
- More than 2 years of working experience of Angular 2, Entity Framework, single page application (SPA)
- More than 5 years of solid working experience of database development using Microsoft SQL server, including database design, queries, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning, etc
- Proficient in JavaScript, Jquery, HTML & XML, CSS, and Json
- A team player with strong communication skills
- A self-starter that needs minimum supervision
Desired Skills:
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies - .Net Remoting, Microsoft Message Queuing, MS Master Data Service (MDS), SQL server administration, SSRS, and SSIS
- Experience mentoring junior/middle level developers or leading development works
