We are on the lookout for a Production Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for all processes on the manufacturing line with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. In this role, you'll inspire and supervise a dynamic team of Supervisors, Lead and Associates in the building of Class 8 trucks and power modules.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the day-to-day efforts of the Production and team
• Work with teams like Program Management to develop and maintain real-time production tracking tools
• Design and implement KPIs that meet business objectives
• Motivate, mentor and coach Production Supervisors to achieve overall performance goals for production, cost, quality, and safety
• Delegate production assignments to the appropriate groups and personnel
• Ensure assembly processes support the production operator for ergonomics, efficiency, and quality
• Ensure quality of products built
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Identify, participate, and/or implement continuous improvement activities
• Proactively investigate and resolve production problems
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• BS degree (Master’s preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a technical related degree preferred; HS Diploma required
• Minimum (10) ten years’ relevant experience in R&D, manufacturing, or related field
• Minimum (8) eight years’ experience managing teams of people in high volume production 
• Previous expertise in automotive and/or class-8, alt-fuel environment is required
• The ability to follow directions while being a self-starter
• Effective oral and written communication 
• Physical stamina to (including but not limited to) stand, kneel, bend, push, pull, reach, grip, lift, etc
• Comprehension of and adherence to safety & policy practices

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
