Responsibilities

• Assist in network design and implementation, ensuring performance, availability, and security at targeted levels
• Provide network support, troubleshooting, and user support
• Manage, install, and configure computer network equipment. Upgrade systems as necessary to maintain current versions
• Ensure changes are supported by appropriate documentation and follow change control processes to minimize negative impacts to users and ensure expected outcomes
• Create technical support documentation for systems and applications
• Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and upgrades
• Monitor network to ensure optimal performance and security
• Communicate issues effectively and in a timely fashion to users and leadership
• Troubleshoot network issues

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
• Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills
• Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures
• Experience supporting enterprise level network systems and architecture (e.g. multi-location, 1000 users)
• Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving ability
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience leading projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to assist both non-technical and technical audiences

 You Have:

• AS or BS, in Information Technology, Information Systems OR equivalent work experience in an information technology field
• 3 years of proven Network Administration experience in a corporate, multi-site environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent work experience in IT
• 4 years of experience in a network administration/engineering role including experience in a corporate, multi-site environment
• MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP certifications are a plus

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
