Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as required
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the supervisor

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring personal care assistance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or assisting with mobility

Expected hours: 16 per week
