Job Summary Maintain inventory of repair parts and consumable items to support all production machinery in PSS, ECU, and SMT manufacturing. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Works with maintenance technicians to define repair part requirements and priorities. Works with numerous vendors to identify and obtain quotes on needed repair parts. Creates requisitions and expediting authorizations from standard forms. Routes requisitions and related forms for approval Maintains files of open and completed requisitions and spreadsheets documenting order costs. Receives, records, and puts away all parts delivered by Receiving. Creates inventory locations for new items. Performs assorted data entry and reporting tasks as assigned. Monitors Vendor-Managed Inventory of production consumables, and places weekly orders to maintain required stock levels. Supports and participates in the Company’s management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts Notifies group leader or supervisor of any problems Supports and implements the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activities Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above. Experience: 1 years Education: High School or Equivalent Certifications: N/A Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must have intermediate PC skill level: MS Word, Excel, Google Gmail, Internet Explorer, and other PC applications needed to perform functions. Must be proficient in basic mathematics. Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components, with the ability to read assembly drawings. Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others Ability to learn, understand and adhere to all applicable safety precautions and procedures Scope of Supervision: N/A Travel Required: Negligible Physical Demand (Special Considerations): While performing the duties of this job, the employee consistently is required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
