 As the A/R Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the client accounts receivable system, preparing bank reconciliations, and applying checks in the accounts receivable system. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

· Enter daily or weekly AR/Cash receipts 

· Communicate with customers on unpaid invoices and questions on billings

· Reconcile bank balance daily or weekly and research to correct any discrepancies

· Review process to resolve issues causing discrepancies between customers and system

· Process move of data from Sales Module to General Ledger 

· Research customer questions on invoices.

· Assist in month end closing process 

· Reconcile GL accounts for assigned entities 

· Back up for other employees when necessary and special projects as assigned 

Requirements

Education and Experience: 

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in high volume, small transaction value, processing environment. 

· Computer Skills: Strong technical experience including accounting software, database management and Microsoft Office. 

Other Requirements: 

· Strong Excel skills in dealing with large volumes of data

· Strong accounting, analytical, and problem solving skills

· Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills

· Must excel in personal interactions with the staff at all levels of the organization
