Meet Your Future NeighborsIn conjunction with product management and design, the engineering team at Nextdoor is responsible for bringing to life our mission of being the neighborhood hub for trusted connections and the exchange of helpful information, goods, and services. Working in small cross-functional teams, you'll work in an agile environment that values code quality, learning quickly, and personal growth through collaboration and challenge.
You will collaborate with front end, back end, data science, infrastructure, and machine learning engineers to collectively improve the state of engineering at Nextdoor. All engineers are invited to join co-ops to facilitate continuous modernization and knowledge sharing.

As such, you'll get the opportunity to make key contributions across our engineering stack - this includes developing and improving frameworks across our frontend and backend services, in addition to making direct contributions to your team's product area.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $185,000 to $230,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
