SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The Compensation Analyst role will research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents
  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range 
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market data to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position 
  • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends and compiles data for compensation survey participation 
  • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information for hiring, and as part of Company’s performance and market adjustment cycle 
  • Plans and communicates preferred methods and best practices for hiring, training, compensating, and evaluating employee
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience of compensation experience
  • Experience in human resources

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong customer focus and a team player
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Previous gaming or high-industry experience, a plus
