Role: Full Time

Shift: 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday)

Pay: $19.20 per hour

Job description

Newrest is looking for a Safety Admin to assist Safety Department with record keeping, data management, and administrative tasks. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and experience working with Microsoft Excel. This individual will be working within a fast-paced operational/transportation environment. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

-You will support Safety Department Managers in assisting to manage performance tracking, safety reporting, training records, team member schedules and time keeping.

-You will provide daily on-site administrative support to the safety team and its team members.

Your role will be focused on the following duties:-

  • Administrative support: working with ADP and Excel
  • Assisting department managers with tracking Corrective Actions
  • Management of safety and training records/reports
  • Reply to general information requests with accurate information
  • Management of team member schedules and working hours of agency workers
  • Recording and transmission of information
  • Management of employee absence information
  • Management of daily attendance sheets or time sheets
  • Preparation and tracking of site management dashboards
  • Communication of relevant information to Management
  • Monitoring compliance with HR procedures

 

Qualifications:-

  • Prior Administrative Support experience is required
  • College or University diploma is an asset
  • Advanced level of proficiency in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attendance, diligence, punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
