Job Description

Newrest is looking for an HR Coordinator to coordinate the onboarding of new hires and badging process. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and some experience with onboarding and tracking new hires. 

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Able to work a shift between 10:00 am - 7:00 PM with Sunday and Monday Off. 
  • Coordinate new hires to complete onboarding and submit badging paperwork.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and collect I-9 documents 
  • Coordinate badging and renewal appointments 
  • Track new hire progress through the badging process and next steps
  • Coordinate and track testing and onboarding progress
  • Track and provide periodic updates to managers and HR manager on the completion date 
  • Keep up to date on company policies and procedures 
  • Provide administrative support to the department as needed

Skills, Education, and Training 

  • Ability to work a flexible shift schedule 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 
  • Strong drive for results with the ability to operate successfully in a team environment
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external contacts
