The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for ongoing development and revision of written learning curriculum to ensure engaging instructor-led workshops and active eLearnings that support our technical products and programs. This position will collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts and Learning and Employee Success team members to assess need for instruction, design and develop engaging programs (e.g. instructor led, eLearning, etc.), manage proper distribution and evaluate effectiveness in alignment with business goals. Job Responsibilities: Work in consultation with business partners, subject matter experts and course facilitators to identify skill gaps and design engaging course materials and job aids. Conducts needs analyses and identifies core learning objectives to build effective learning modules (i.e. classroom, eLearning, etc.) Manage instructional design projects from start to finish Upload and manage content in the organization-wide Learning Management System Facilitate the creation of multimedia content (e.g. video, audio, etc.) Revise existing training materials including, but not limited to, course Participant Guides, system and program manuals and job aids to incorporate product, system and process changes to improve effectiveness and learning transfer Design, develop and implement processes and procedures to adequately assess the effectiveness of training, skill acquisition and retention of knowledge. Create, implement and maintain processes and procedures for effective knowledge management, version control and communication strategy for training materials Work with course facilitators to determine material needs for upcoming courses and coordinate associated printing and distribution Provide train-the-trainers to Learning Specialists and subject matter experts Assist with the facilitation of training sessions as needed Required Experience and Skills: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced degree is highly desirable A minimum of 2 years of instructional design experience and professional training experience preferred Strong written communication skills. Experience with eLearning design using multiple authoring tools like Camtasia and Articulate 360, (including Storyline and Rise) preferred. Experience preferred working with and managing content in an LMS (Workday preferred) Strong working knowledge of instructional design, learning methodologies, evaluation and adult learning principles. Proven ability to effectively consult and work collaboratively with different departments across sites and management levels Ability to quickly develop a wide breadth and depth of highly technical knowledge Have a strong working knowledge of small businesses and the use of domains, hosting, email and site builders to establish an online presence Organization, detail-orientation, time management and project management skills Proven ability to work creatively and independently while driving projects to success Strong knowledge of facilitation and classroom management skills Experience designing training materials for software or other technology, call center environments, and/or customer service/sales curriculum preferred Employment with Newfold Digital is at-will and nothing in this Job Description should be interpreted or construed to alter the at-will employment relationship.
