Newcore Technology Group is Hiring a Sales Engineer Near Houston, TX

OVERIVEWYou will be part of a high-performing, international team working on cutting edge, patented AI/ML and robotics technologies designed to reinvent industrial asset management for step-change improvements in asset life, maintenance cost and reduction of failure risk. Our technology is used within offshore O&G platforms, critical infrastructure, space, agriculture, and other verticals.

The organization is growing rapidly and seeing a Solutions Engineer to join our Houston team to support tremendous growth. In this role you will be a critical link between business development and technical delivery. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to leverage their technical engineering background in a business development/sales related role.

In this position, you can expect:

  • Develop a detailed understanding of asset integrity inspection solutions and provide technical sales support covering key aspects of the technology, capabilities, value and commercial model.
  • Present/demonstrate flagship products and the value these can deliver to clients.
  • Identify unique client value propositions and validate these through client interaction as well as pilots/projects.
  • Map out key stakeholder groups and workflows within flagship clients and explore the integration of products within each clients unique environment.
  • Assist the sales team to refine and test pricing models for flagship products. 
  • Prepare proposals, technical sales materials, scoping documentation as well as construct and deliver various client presentations as part of the sales process.
  • Lead the process of scoping commercial pilots of this disruptive technology - working with clients internal teams to define:
    • Work scopes relevant to client needs/pain points
    • Effort and cost estimations
    • Client specific pilot and post-pilot pricing
    • Success criteria that highlights the technical leadership of our products in the industry and the significant impact these can have on client operations
    • Technical and commercial validation methodology that maximizes the likelihood of demonstrating product value
  • Oversee the execution of pilot projects:
    • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary delivery team for the execution of pilots
    • Manager the client/asset data onboarding process
    • Run regular update meetings with the client and act as the focal point for pilot work and technical conversations.
    • Upsell/cross sell other products and features during and following the delivery of pilots.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years experience
  • Engineering degree in related fields such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, petroleum engineering.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry and integrity management/inspections experience would be preferred but not required
  • Ambitious
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
