New You Dental Center is Hiring a Dental Office Treatment Coordinator Near Livonia, MI
New You Dental Center is looking for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team!
The Dental Treatment Coordinator explains treatment options with patients and helps determine these clients' best option and getting that treatment plan to the patient. Also, the candidate will assist patients in determining insurance coverage and assist patients with payment options. Well versed with current insurance practices, requirements, and forms; verifying proper reimbursement is received for services provided; and documenting and coding information.
Primary duties of the Dental Treatment Coordinator include: reviewing patient accounts, treatment plans/options, and answering general, basic insurance questions; having basic and advanced dental terminology and being comfortable presenting dental information to patients; and reviewing past due bills and following up on past due accounts.
Qualifications:
Qualified employees will have:
- At least one year experience with the full dental billing cycle
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Working understanding of dental terminology to explain benefits
- Payment posting experience
- Experience in working with insurance companies to get claims paid
- Knowledge with Dentrix database
- Knowledge of Care Credit
- Other duties assigned as needed
