NEW YORK HEALTH CARE INC. is Hiring a HR Recruiter (Home Care) Near Bronx, NY

New York Health Care, Inc. a licensed home care agency now in our 37th year of operation is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Home Care Recruiter for our Bronx office.

This is a full time Monday – Friday position. This position will be in the office for the majority of the time with limited field recruiting.

Job functions to include:

  • Recruit HHA’s (home health aides) and PCA’s (personal care aides) throughout the tri-state area and Westchester County
  • Prepare advertisements and job postings
  • Attend job fairs and present employment opportunities to the general population
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH regulations
  • Perform all functions related to the hiring process from interview up to and including orientation
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community to develop referral sources

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Reliable transportation to cover field appointments and visits throughout the tri-state area and Westchester County
  • Excellent written, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently; detail oriented with ability to prioritize and follow up
  • Able and willing to cover if necessary other offices
  • Previous health care experience; preferably HR, compliance or recruiting
  • Knowledge of NYS DOH personnel hiring requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HHA exchange software system
  • Previous home care recruiting/marketer experience
  • Knowledge and proven record on relationships with referral sources such as training schools

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay commensurate with experience
  • PTO including holiday, vacation, sick and personal time off
