The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department by performing various accounting tasks, including but not limited to recording general ledger entries, preparing standard financial statements, reconciling bank and credit card statements, tracking fixed assets and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate must have extreme attention to detail, solid analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office. To be successful, a Staff Accountant must be highly motivated, have a positive team attitude, and be able to implement change as the organization undergoes growth, process improvements, and integration.

As a Staff Accountant, You Will:

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger of multiple separate entities.
• Assist with the month-end closing process, conducting research and making correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepares closing journal entries, posts accrual entries, and prepare financial statements.
• Perform inter-company accounting entries.
• Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.
• Maintain best fixed asset system, which includes preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger to fixed assets system, and preparation of depreciation schedules for budgeting purposes.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual auditing.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathering necessary account information and documents to perform annual audits.
• Perform various other duties as assigned, including cross-training in other functional areas.

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and Accounting Softwares.
•  Working knowledge of GAAP.
