New Mexico Donor Services is Hiring a Organ Recovery Coordinator Near West Sacramento, CA

Sierra Donor Services is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator in West Sacramento to join our team! We are looking for candidates who:

Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold: 

1. Works with donor families, donor hospital personnel, and transplant hospital personnel to facilitate efficient recovery of organs for transplantation. 
2. Manages donor patients in accordance with established policy and protocols, in addition to consultation with Medical Director and leadership. 
3. Utilizes critical thinking skills to manage all aspects of donor case management. 
4. Must be able to withstand extended work hours and extensive on-call duties. 
5. Must have reliable personal transportation and be able to travel in small aircraft. 

This position will require on call availability and work 12 hour shifts. Employees will receive a minimum base pay of 40 hours per week. Monthly cell phone stipends will be provided. Employees will be required to travel within a 3 hour radius of Sacramento, California.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: 

1. RN/PA or related health care degree or licensure preferred. 
2. One to two years’ work experience in a critical care setting or equivalent medical experience in an OPO or related field required. 
3. Valid driver license required. May be required to use privately owned vehicle during the scope of company business. 
4. Working knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills required.
