New Jersey Courts is Hiring an Information Technology Analyst 3 Near Atlantic City, NJ

SALARY: The salary range for this position is $83,711.15 to $117,671.01 for Schedule A, and $83,711.15 to $111,787.46 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The successful candidate should be experienced with supporting the Windows 10 operating system in a networked environment as well as supporting Microsoft Office applications including Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Configuration manager (MECM), SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Teams, and Zoom and have an advanced understanding of enterprise network components. Travel within the multicounty vicinage may be required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Planning, designing, and implementing technology rollouts that may require off-hours or weekend work.
- Developing innovative solution using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform.
- Performing Windows server administrative tasks and administering server roles.
- Developing standards and procedures to maintain security compliance and take appropriate action to ensure proper application of all hardware and software updates.
- Designing, implementing, and supporting evidence display technology within courtrooms.
- Performing advanced level group policy administration.
- Utilizing Configuration Manager (MECM) to create software deployments, reports, and queries.
- Designing and supporting SharePoint applications.
- Performing advanced level analyzing and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- The selected candidate(s) may be required to work a non-traditional work week, which may include Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying on a year for year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
A Bachelor's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.
An Associate's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity and two (2) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for a the required education.
An Associate's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.
A Master's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity may be substituted for the required education OR one (1) year of experience.

Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), also known as the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.
