Position Overview:

New Horizons has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Specialist who is interested in being part of our team as we provide quality customer service to individuals with severe mental illnesses.

· Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; 

· Training: Must obtain CPI, CPR, First Aid (will train)

· Benefits: Full-Time benefits include, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance. Paid holidays, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Job duties include but not limited to:

· Various receptionist/ secretarial duties including answering a multi-line phone; directing calls; communicating with/texting/calling clinical staff; scanning; copying; typing; mail distribution; processing requests for information; data entry

· Managing consumer records in an electronic medical record system

· Scheduling appointments for clinical staff

· Providing excellent customer service 

· Implement and abide by company policy

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in a medical office, a pleasant and patient demeanor, customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, the ability to multi-task, and an interest in working in the mental health field a plus.
