Description
SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall communication, scheduling, and execution of various systems installation projects including AV, Pro Sound, CCTV, Fire Alarm and others. The Project Manager oversees the process for the project and coordinates objectives with a team of Engineers, and Installation Technicians. The associate is responsible for ensuring all work is completed in the most effective and efficient manner. The Project Manager successfully drives business results, provides mentoring and leadership to the team, and meets financial goals. The Project Manager coordinates project completion and is responsible for maintaining communication with Company management, associated sales staff, clients, and construction contacts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
In managing a team as well as themselves, the Project Manager:
· Develops operational plans, project schedules, and objectives that achieve optimal operational efficiency.
· Fosters a positive environment of collaboration, teamwork, mentorship, and communication.
· Provides support to all levels of technical staff and manages day-to-day operations.
· Conducts reviewing, coaching, and career development activities for direct reports.
· Monitors the performance of all direct reports to ensure efficient and effective work.
In the Design and Planning Process
· Maintains customer relationships and responds in a timely and professional manner to all customers.
· Communicates with superiors, direct reports, and other departments to keep informed of the progress of all jobs.
· Works with Design and Engineering to create installation drawings and final BOM.
· Analyzes and determines necessary changes in design, contract price, and installation requirements.
· Schedules and conducts Installation Kick-Off Meetings.
During the Installation Process
· Conducts pre-installation site review as well as regular site visits.
· Effectively manages each project to attain project milestones and goals while staying within budget.
· Creates and manages all project plans and specifications using software packages.
· Plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on assigned installations.
· Coordinates integration project details with technical services and procurement.
· Ensures all quotes, scopes of work, drawings, equipment, materials, tools, and resources are allocated time to ensure a successful installation.
· Processes change orders to ensure items are ordered, the project plan is updated, drawings are updated, the quote is created and the invoice is processed.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
· Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
· Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail applications
· Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills that allow the successful completion of service-related tasks by a specific due date.
· Ability to read and understand system installation and construction drawings.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of five years of experience in project management of systems solutions and integration projects. Valid and current driver's license.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Generally speaking, Monday through Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm
TRAVEL: local to the Indianapolis area
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English
