NEW BEDFORD ART MUSEUM is Hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper Near New Bedford, MA
- ADMINISTRATIVE BOOKKEEPER - HOURLY position.
- Location: New Bedford Art Museum/Artworks. 608 Pleasant Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Part-time schedule. More details upon interview.
- Requirement: Previous accounting experience is required.
- Starting Pay: $26.00 per hour
New Bedford Art Museum/Artworks! is looking for a professional and reliable individual with experience in accounting and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, enjoys numbers, and can work independently.
Requirements
- Experience QuickBooks online.
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with receivables and payables
- Perform administrative tasks to support daily operations
- Utilize Excel and Microsoft office products
- Manage the day to day accounting operations of the Museum
- Post daily financial entries
- Generate monthly reports
- Record payments and adjustments daily
- Pay invoices
- Maintain office supplies
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $29.85 per hour
