New Age Protection is Hiring an Armed Security Guard Near Graniteville, SC
Location: Graniteville, SC
Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Observe and report incidents to the local authorities as needed.
• Drive patrol car/golf cart to monitor activity and assist on-site.
• Report any unusual incidents or hazardous conditions and provide an incident report.
• Responsible for logging in/out personnel entering and leaving the worksite.
• Review the emergency plan regularly to ensure compliance with state, local, and federal laws.
• Have a working knowledge of South Carolina laws as they pertain to search and seizure, contraband, and weapons violations.
• Aid in the prevention of vandalism, theft, malicious mischief, trespass, active shooter, or use of facilities equipment.
• Maintaining security booths and security vehicles; posting notices, and other related duties may be assigned.
• Policing the grounds, buildings, and parking lots; opening buildings; securing the buildings; monitoring security systems; monitoring running equipment; escorting housekeeping personnel outside buildings.
Requirements:
• High Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a Physical Fitness Test.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and SLED license.
• Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to climb stairs and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, public safety, or military experience.
